Uptown Girl is such a beautiful shop and has everything you need to accessorise yourself yourself whether it is for... casual wear or you have a special occasion/wedding. There is a wide selection of shoes, jewelry, bags, scarves, dresses and headwear to choose from and some lovely gifts. I bought a beautiful wedding gift for my friend today. Great service from Uptown Girl. So easy to buy from Jean while the shop is closed. It is always difficult to be sure... that a handbag is what you want when you can only see it online but Jean really shows off the bags and I am delighted with the Pepe Moll bags I bought. Today I picked my wedding shoes!!! Massive thank you to Jean for all your help, I was in the shop over an hour trying... on so many pairs of shoes but left with the perfect pair and another just because they were in the sale and you never know when you'll need a nice pair of black heels! So if you are looking for the perfect pair of shoes get along to uptown girl, there are also so many beautiful fascinators, hand bags, scarfs and jewellery all at amazing prices! So glad I went to the shop and tried shoes on, shopping online for wedding shoes would have been a nightmare, so many purchases and returns. I was gifted a pair of fabulous gloves in December and liked them so much I went and bought a pair the very same for my... friend. They are lovely and warm, plus they have a slight stretch in them so they are a good fit for different sized hands. The customer service was fab! The woman who runs / owns this shop is fantastic. Weeks before my daughters wedding I still had no shoes and bag. (I... have small narrow feet). This woman has the patience of a saint and I left the shop after buying shoes and clutch bag and these were dyed navy to match my dress. The colour match was superb. I also bought a hat and wrap. As someone who absolutely hates shopping I have dreaded looking for an outfit for my son's upcoming wedding. Thankfully... Visited Uptown Girl today to find some last minute accessories for an upcoming family wedding. From the minute I... entered the shop Jean was amazing. Welcoming, helpful and clearly very passionate about what she does. There is a great selection of fabulousness and sparkles, from shoes, fascinators and jewelry. Colour matching accessories for a wedding outfit isn't something you can do online, you need to actually see them in person. I was needing a accessories for my brothers wedding and have been looking everywhere, i found this little shop in... Cowdenbeath. The staff were very helpfull and friendly and also gave me alot of advice on diferent scarfs they had in store. I also noticed that they had a unique selection of shoes and hanbags and also accessories that know one else in the wedding would be wearing. I managed to find the scarf that i wanted to go with my navy dress. Cant thank them enough and will definitly be back. This shop is a gem.
